Welcome Ramor Theatre opened to the public in September 1999 and since then it has been a part of the cultural and artistic life in County Cavan being the only professional performance space in the county. Its aim is to nurture an interest in the performing arts in the county and present a varied programme of performance by professional artists in all the art forms as well as encouraging international acts and individuals to perform at the theatre. It also facilitates the development of youth arts including youth drama as well as engaging in an educational programme. The Theatre is a Local authority run venue which is assisted by funding from the Arts Council.
